logging in
your email + a 6-digit code. or, for volunteers, the organizer shares a one-time code good for a single event.
offline mode
the app pre-caches the full guest list when you open it. you can scan for 8 hours on airplane mode; all scans queue and sync when you’re back online. the scanner’s design assumes the wifi is bad.
volunteer mode
enable in event settings → door. generate a code. volunteers can scan, check in by name, and see the list — but can’t refund, edit, or see revenue.
multi-door
separate doors (a + b) keep their own scan logs. the dashboard shows who came in which door; useful for vip entrances and merch rooms.
common issues
- “already scanned” — same ticket scanned twice. either the person already came in or someone forwarded the pdf.
- “wrong event” — ticket belongs to a different show. check the buyer’s receipt.
- scanner won’t read qr — open the ticket on the phone’s brightest setting. or type the last-6 of the code manually.
