talk to us

the buyer-fee rate varies by plan because volume earns better terms. it doesn't come out of your pocket either way — the organizer always gets the full ticket price.

questions we actually get.

so the organizer really pays nothing?

right. we don't take a percentage, we don't have a setup fee, we don't paywall basic things like custom branding on your free tier. the only money that ever flows from you to us is the 1% instant-payout fee, and only if you use it.

the buyer pays 6% + $0.50 at checkout. it's itemised. it's in our terms. it's in their receipt.

what about stripe fees?

stripe is included in the 6% — we don't pass it through separately. same for apple pay, google pay, link. if you bring your own stripe account on venue, you pay stripe directly and we drop our buyer fee to 2.5%.

what happens on a refund?

the buyer gets all of it back. including our fee. we eat the processing cost because we think "the platform keeps its cut on a refund" is the oldest gaslight in the industry.

how fast do we get paid?

next business day, free. instant (within 30 min, any day, including weekends) for 1%. on venue, we can settle same-hour — useful when you're paying the band in cash at load-out.

can i charge a service fee on top?

yes. it's literally a field in the wizard. we show it to buyers itemised — we don't help anyone hide fees, including you.

is there a cap on the buyer fee?

$12 per ticket, regardless of price. on a $400 conference ticket the buyer pays us $12, not $40.50. (on posh: $40.99.)

do you handle sales tax?

for u.s. states where we're registered — yes, automatically, collected and remitted. for others, we calculate it and surface it in the ticket line, and you remit. full list.

how do i leave?

export all your events, attendees, and revenue data as csv or json — one click, no email required. close the account in the same settings panel. we delete your data in 30 days unless you ask us to do it immediately.

are you vc-backed? what's the exit?

seed round, august 2024. we don't have a thesis about an exit. we have a thesis about not being posh.
